We are likely in your area more often than you might think. Besides this, we have a golden rule that we work hard to keep: 24-48 hours from the initial call. That means if you called right now, we will try to schedule your appointment within 24 to 48 hours. In many cases, we can arrive the same day. However, there are several factors that might require additional time to prepare for treatment. If you need help fast, just ask!

How much pest control costs depends largely on multiple factors. Four Seasons offers a variety of services and service packages Cost will always depend on several factors which include the area you are in, the size of the home or commercial property, the frequency of service, and several others. Thankfully, this can all be discussed in your initial consultation as we prepare a plan to help you begin your pest free journey!

No one likes to live with pests, so of course it’s worth having pest control. Plus, many pests can cause illnesses and diseases to humans, pets, and other domestic animals. Four Seasons Pest Solutions has multiple locations and services three states. Our pest experts are well experienced and ready to get your plan started right away.

Certain pests take longer to deal with than others, and some homes and commercial properties are larger and more complex than others. Treatments range from 10 minutes to 8+ hours, depending on the pest being controlled and the severity of infestation. However, the average appointment is less than 30 minutes, which is likely where most homes will fall.

Significant reductions can be noticed right away in many cases. Ultimately, it depends upon the severity of infestation, the type of pest being controlled, and the ultimate goal. If long-term control is preferred, sometimes it may take longer to achieve initial results.

It is entirely possible that the problem may appear to get worse before it gets better, and believe it or not, this is a good sign that control efforts are working. Of course there won’t be more pests present after treatment, but more might be visible once their harborage, feeding, and breeding habits have been disrupted. We usually ask the customer to allow two weeks after an initial treatment to begin to see real results.

There are several reasons why pests enter buildings. The three necessary “ingredients” for survival of a pest is food, water, and shelter. As you can imagine, homes and businesses often provide all three! Pests usually begin by searching for shelter. They may sense heat from inside the structure during cold months, through a crack or other gap in the walls, floors, ceiling, roof, or other part of the home. Once the structure has provided shelter for the pest, food is next on their agenda. If these two necessities are found, pests can begin infestation successfully.

Besides these, a host of variables comes into play when dealing with pest infestations. Our informative Blog and Vlog pages may help answer further questions.

Sure, you can DIY your pest control. There are several companies who market pesticides straight to the end-user. These companies package diluted insecticides in pretty containers and boast great promises that rarely come true. Homeowners are often left with the same and even worse problems after they try DIY products, plus they are out the money they spent and still need an exterminator.

DIY products aren’t always the entire problem, however. Insecticides are meant to be used in specific ways, on specific pests, at specific times and intervals, with specific precision. Failure to properly apply pesticides is the number one cause of failed DIY attempts, and more importantly, dangerous exposure to pesticides.

The real question you need to ask yourself is simple; Do I have the necessary training to properly apply pesticides without exposing myself and others to potentially dangerous chemicals? If you can’t answer YES to this question, it’s best to hire someone who can. Four Seasons Pest Solutions expertly trains our exterminators, the State certifies that they are capable of properly applying pesticides, and our insurance stands behind our ability to do so.

Here at Four Seasons Pest Solutions, our staff are expertly-trained professionals who are certified by each State in which they operate, to properly, effectively, and safely apply pesticides where humans and animals dwell. Furthermore, each staff member is required to attend annual training updates and continuing education courses in each State to ensure they are up-to-date with new products, procedures, and precautions. Additionally, background checks, drug testing, vehicle records checks, and other precautions are taken so that we can ensure that we hire only the best, brightest, and well behaved exterminators that “money can buy”!

Each situation is different, depending on the pest, the type of service to be performed, and a variety of other factors. The most important thing is to have a clutter-free home so our exterminators can successfully navigate the structure to properly apply insecticides.

Aside from having a clutter-free area for treatment, several other requirements might be necessary. Our sales team will identify and request all the needed steps you must take to prepare for your treatment, if any apply. In many cases, there are little to no requirements.

Pesticides are obviously dangerous in the wrong hands. This is why we suggest that DIY products be avoided altogether. But what about professional pest control? is it really safe? The answer is yes… and, well, it depends. We can’t speak for every Pest Control company out there… but we can speak for ourselves! We have a 45+ year track record of providing top-notch pest control without any adverse problems. Our Google Reviews also speak volumes for our professionalism and the safety of our applications. You can trust Four Seasons Pest Solutions to provide safe pest control for your entire family!

In many cases, it’s safe to clean as soon as the treatment is completed. However, the type of treatment and type of cleaning you plan to do can vary. Therefore, it is appropriate to ask your exterminator about your specific situation before beginning to clean after a treatment has been performed. As a rule of thumb, it’s good to clean BEFORE the exterminator arrives in case there are a few days of downtime after a treatment.

Absolutely! The fact of the matter is that we did not bring more roaches to your home. All the roaches you are seeing now have been there before we were. What happened is simple: our exterminators applied pesticides to harborage areas where roaches congregate. Once they begin to eat the product and subsequently die, the other roaches leave that harborage. This manifests itself as the appearance of a larger infestation than was previously visible, when what it actually means is that the infestation is shrinking! When roaches scatter because their harborage has been disrupted, more roaches will be visible out in the open than before.

Our roach programs are designed so that we return multiple times of the course of 6 to 12 months so that we can completely eliminate the entire population, including any egg casings that have not yet hatched. We do NOT guarantee immediate success. Instead, we guarantee that at the end of our treatment program, your home or business will be roach-free!

If you plan to shampoo your carpets, it is best to do this before, and not after, a pest treatment. When dealing with fleas, cleaning carpets AFTER a treatment will remove the treatment and void the warranty.

If your home has recently been treated for fleas and you are still seeing fleas, this can be normal.

First, we would ask if you have vacuumed your carpeted floors and your rugs after treatment? This is CRUCIAL to help remove eggs, larva, pupa, and adults.

Second, we would ask if you have had your pets treated? It is important to understand that a treated home DOES NOT help with infested pets.

Third, it is important to understand that the pupal stage of fleas is resistant to every known insecticide in the entire world. Yes, you read that right! This is why vacuuming is a crucial component of a flea treatment.

Forth, if you have hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, or other non-carpeted flooring, you will almost ALWAYS need one or two follow-up treatments to eliminate the flea population. Fleas and their eggs can get deep into very tiny cracks and crevices where not even a pest treatment can reach. Just imagine trying to get enough insecticide on a hardwood floor to penetrate deep into the cracks between the wood. It would require a complete soaking of the floor, which is not safe. for you or the floor. Instead, several light treatments must be performed. During this time, pupa will morph and new adults will be present. Usually, 7 days must pass between applications.
