The Origins of the German Cockroach

German Roaches sound like they should be the most aggressive, after all, it was the Germans who took on the entire world, not once, but twice! German Cockroaches are also a would-be world-dominator, that is, if it weren’t for pest control experts like Four Seasons Pest Solutions, and, of course, all the other pest companies out there!

But are German Roaches really German? It is odd to consider that Germany has some pretty cold temperatures and yet German roaches can’t tolerate the cold. Maybe they came from somewhere else? And if that’s the case, how did they get their name? And how did they get here?
