The skunk (Mephitis mephitis) is surprisingly flexible, able to fit through gaps as small as 4 inches wide, and is also a great burrower, thanks to its strong front claws. These properties can make them a very prevalent nuisance in Kentucky homes.
Although they may seem like they would be great at hiding, there are quite a few signs that you can use to tell if you have skunks. Here are some common signs of an infestation:
