German Cockroach Biology

with Matthew Hess

To effectively develop and implement control measures against them, German Cockroach biology must be our starting point.  To develop, implement and enjoy the results of programs designed to eliminate and prevent infestation, we must first understand the pest. As we become more educated, we will learn how to combat pests without the use of insecticides, at least if we practice good sanitation.

All pests require three things for survival: Food, water and shelter. Once you understand a particular pest like the German Cockroach, you can learn how to limit their access to these three essential things. In turn, this will help reduce populations and future infestations.

Our goal is not only to provide pest control but to also educate the public about the dangers of certain pests and how to better prepare ourselves to combat their infestations. We have to live among pests, but we don’t have to live with them. Here at Four Seasons, we believe every human deserves the right to live a peaceful and pest free life.

If you or someone you know are battling a roach infestation, please give our offices a call. Serious diseases and allergies are associated with cockroach infestations and could be detrimental to your health.
